OK im not all that bright, declaring a second array was proving to be more difficult than getting those little bits of popcorn from between your teeth but i digress! If only i had bothered gettting up at 9 on thursdays hours of irratation couldve been avoided. Turns out all i needed was:
float [] myArray; to declare the array
and then
myArray = new float[201]; to initialise it
Now the organism will start off at absolute zero and expand until it reaches the data from the archos site, i.e. the cameras from Portland square! It then increments by either +0.05 or -0.05 depending on whether the data is larger or smaller than the previous.
Lets see if that works!
